Why We Built OP Sentinel

OP Sentinel exists because of a specific, repeated experience: buying a pre-workout with a serious-looking label, paying a serious price, and getting a result that didn't justify either.

This happened enough times — across enough different products — that the conclusion became unavoidable. The problem wasn't bad luck with individual products. It was a structural issue with how most pre-workouts are built.

The real cost of underdosing

When a supplement is underdosed, the athlete pays twice. Once at the checkout. Again in the session, when the formula doesn't deliver and the training suffers.

The underdosing problem is widespread because it's profitable. A brand can list citrulline, beta-alanine, and Alpha-GPC on a label and charge a premium for the ingredient profile — while putting each one in at a fraction of the dose required to produce any measurable effect. Unless the customer knows the clinical dose ranges and checks each line individually, they'll never know.

Most customers don't check. Most brands rely on that.

What we decided to do differently

The formulation brief for OP Sentinel started with one constraint: every ingredient at clinical dose or it doesn't go in.

That sounds obvious. In practice it means the formula costs more to manufacture, the price per unit is higher, and there's no room to pad the label with cheap filler ingredients to make the list look longer.

We accepted those trade-offs because the alternative was to build another product that looked good and underdelivered — and that wasn't the point.

Working with a manufacturer who understood what we were building, we developed a high-stim formula designed specifically for experienced athletes: the ones who've been training long enough to have built real caffeine tolerance, who need a strong and clean focus effect, and who are willing to pay for quality if the quality is actually there.

Why high-stim

There's a place for low-stim formulas. For athletes early in their training, for evening sessions, for days when the goal is movement rather than maximum output.

OP Sentinel isn't that product. It was built for the sessions where you need everything — maximum output, sharp focus, sustained energy from the first set to the last. The athletes who need that know who they are. We built it for them specifically.

The name

Obsidian is a volcanic glass — formed under extreme conditions, harder than steel, with a razor-sharp edge. It doesn't bend. It doesn't compromise its structure.

That's the standard we set for the product. Not the most marketable formula. The sharpest one.
